Scout

One dog or cat for 72 hours, carried by the owner. Water, bowls, a canister for three days of their own food, a lead or a carrier, clean-up, pet first aid and a write-on ID tag, in a 15-litre bag that clips onto the front of an Operator. Because the rest centre may not take them, and you are not leaving them behind.

Coming soon

The first production run of the Scout is under way. Leave your email and you'll hear the day it's ready to order — one message, nothing else.

Assembled to order in the UK and dispatched within three working days. 30-day returns if unopened.

The food canister is empty on purpose: a sudden change of food upsets a pet's stomach, so you fill it with three days of their own.

One Scout per animal, like every bag in the range. The same body as the Recruit.

Questions

Straight answers.

Why is the food canister empty?

Because a sudden change of food upsets a pet's stomach, and the right food is the one they eat today. Fill the canister from the bag you already buy and swap it every three months.

Will the rest centre take my pet?

Not always. Most emergency shelters try, but it is not guaranteed, so the plan is a friend or family member who will take you both, and a carrier by the door. The 'Pets in an emergency' guide walks you through it.

Why a muzzle in the dog kit?

A hurt or frightened dog can bite the person helping it. Vets and rescue teams ask for a soft muzzle; having one means your dog gets treated faster.

What about the microchip?

Keep the details up to date today; it is the law for dogs and, since 2024, for cats in England. The pet card carries the number, so anyone who finds your pet can call it in.

Two pets?

One Scout each. Two can clip onto one Operator, one above the other.
